a karanténszínházhoz
ahol hónapokon át naponta kétszer
szépirodalomban dagonyázhattál a szóbafestő költővel
aki hitével legyőzte félelmeidet
borús napokon nevettetve
saját születésnapján is neked adott ajándékot

the quarantine theatre
where for months twice a day
you could wallow in literature with the rhyme-painter poet
whose faith helped overcome your fears
who made you laugh on gloomy days
gave you a present on his own birthday

the kingdom of heaven is like it all
but be prepared
as there you’ll even have
far more unexpected happiness
